Changing States of Matter All matter can move from one state to another. It may require extreme temperatures or extreme pressures, but it can be done. Sometimes a substance doesn't want to change states. You have to use all of your tricks when that happens.
Sometimes a substance doesn't want to change states. A gas is a state of matter in which atoms or molecules have enough energy to move freely. The molecules come into contact with one another only when they randomly collide. Forces between atoms or molecules are not strong enough to hold them together.

The physical state of the matter changes by changing temperature. The physical properties of a subtance are changed by changing its physical state but the chemical properties do not change, sometimes the rate of 2020-09-15 States of Matter - PhET Interactive Simulations states of matter: thw physical forms in which a substance can exsist: solid: state of matter that has definite shape and volume; particles are very close together and constantly vibrating: crystalline solid: particles of a solid that are arranged in a repeating pattern of rows: amorphous solids State Matter is on Facebook. 2021-02-25 · Matter, material substance that constitutes the observable universe and, together with energy, forms the basis of all objective phenomena. At the most fundamental level, matter is composed of elementary particles known as quarks and leptons (the class of elementary particles that includes electrons).
The latter among the four is not common in comparison to the rest three. Solid Solubility Effects on Reactions.
